A signature drawn with a mouse usually looks shaky because a mouse forces your whole arm to draw what your fingers normally do. Two things fix it: draw large and slow, then let the download scale it down — small rendering hides wobble — or open this page on your phone and sign with your finger or a stylus, which feels much closer to pen on paper. Try a few pen widths: thin strokes look like ballpoint, thicker strokes read as felt-tip and hide jitter better. Because the canvas records your strokes as vector-like curves before export, a slow, confident pass beats five rushed attempts.

The download is a PNG with a transparent background, which is exactly what document tools expect: drop it onto a PDF with our Sign PDF tool, insert it into a Word document or email signature, or place it over the signature line of a scanned form, and the page shows through around the ink. That makes it an electronic signature — fine for everyday paperwork like rental forms, invoices, NDAs, and internal approvals in most jurisdictions. It is not a certificate-based digital signature (DSC): government filings such as GST returns, MCA forms, or income-tax e-filing that require a DSC or Aadhaar eSign need those dedicated flows instead.
